Currently, Coconut Kenny’s operates six locations in Washington state, providing a tropical theme with gourmet pizzas and Hawaiian bread sandwiches. Based on their success, Coconut Kenny’s will be franchising the company’s operations in order to duplicate the business model into new markets and expand the organization’s market footprint. Through franchise development, Coconut Kenny’s will have the ability to operate locations in new markets and areas without the cost and management responsibilities that would come with widely distributed company owned outlets. Because the pizza segment is crowded with competition, it will take a unique value proposition and a focused business development program to establish the brand.
